Social media is where people such as teen and adults get their resources/information, by watching television. Television when I was younger was cool, fun and catchy; television today is like a train wreck, too many reality shows filled with drama. As an aspect of that television when I was a child was more appropriate to watch rather than television now. Who is responsible for the stop of the good old days? Back when you can watch a show or certain channel without having to worry about you or your child looking at nonsense, the fights, cursing, nudity, doing drugs, and many more horrific things people show on television today. The reason why television when I was a child more appropriate for young adults then television now is because it was more of a pg-13 and educational mindset. “Clarissa explains it all”, “Boy meets world”, “Saved by the bell” and …show more content…
They taught certain subjects or things you didn’t know like for instance, “Boy meets world” I learned a few things from Cory and his best friend Shawn, which was to not skip school, continue on with your education, and also world geography from their teacher/neighbor Mr. Feeny. The shows were always family or children oriented because you could as relate with the cast. “Clarissa explains it all”, Clarissa the teen dealt with things a child and family dealt with in reality: the dating, parents, nerdy or aggravating sibling, in which hers was her nerdy brother Ferguson, the pet, the neighbor or friend that was real cool to vibe with and school. As good director and producers, 90’s television script writers and producers taught me life lessons which was my favorite in particular from the T.v show “Boy meets world”, “Physivhal appearance is secondary to inner beauty”. In this particular episode Cory started to have self-doubt about his looks compared to his gorgeous girlfriend Topanga, who cut her long pretty hair to show

Everyone had that one show you watched or remember watching all the time, these shows catch young children’s attention with their highly stylistic visuals, loveable characters, or respectable morals that you could take into adulthood; sometimes all three. While most people watched shows like SpongeBob, or Ed, Edd, and Eddy, the show I most remember watching was more adult oriented, all possible jokes aside the show that affected my childhood the most was Seinfeld. Seinfeld was an American sitcom that aired between 1989 to 1998, and was created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld. It also starred Jerry Seinfeld as himself and his friends notably Jason Alexander as George Constanza, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Elaine Benes, and finally Michael Richards as Cosmo Kramer. The show had multiple recurring characters like Wayne Knight as Newman, (Kramer’s friend and nemesis to Jerry), Larry David as George Steinbrenner (Georges boss and owner of the New York Yankees), and finally Jerry Stiller as Frank Costanza (Georges Father), among many others.…
