Elderly people need to get to appointments, and the grocery store too. Every elderly person does not have family members close by to take them to the places they need to be at. It is important that they still have that privilege if they are capable of it. There are laws out there to protect individuals. If that privilege is taken away because they hit age 65, they are being discriminated. Equality is important in the United States. It is important that men and woman have the same rights, and that African American and Caucasians have the same rights. Therefore, elderly drivers should have the same rights as young drivers.
