Walls the size of skyscrapers. Vines climbing the walls, from the top to the bottom of the mountain of stone. The ground was cold stone. Everything seemed to be a path to somewhere undiscovered. A rashly put together pile of wood that was called home to a whole community. People think that they cannot learn from a book, let alone a book based on the future. However, The series that has shaped my view of the world is The Maze Runner series, because it shows that anyone can become a good person, nothing is for sure and teamwork is something everyone needs.
Throughout The Maze Runner series, there have been many different characters, some of which are baddies turned good guys. One for sure ‘nothing is for sure’ moment is the Maze. The Gladers have been living in the Maze for years doing a daily routine thinking nothing would change. That was until everything changed. Even after years of retreating back into the walls after they closed, they had to start fighting for survival after the walls stopped closing. Even things that stay the same for years on years can still be subject to huge dramatic changes. Newt, who was one of the original gladers, was thought to be immune. Everyone was supposed to be immune. Until WICKED changed that. Nearly half the group was found out to be infected by the Flare. Anything can happen to anyone. From the president of the United States to the average everyday beggar on the streets. Nothing is for sure and no one is 100 percent immune to anything. Twists and turns in a story are often not solvable by a single person, which is why teamwork is such a great thing to
