First off Curiel has written other articles based around the topic of language skills for children with autism, such as the article “Programming for Generative Receptive Language in Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Matrix Training Approach”. This shows that she must have some extensive knowledge about the topic at hand and has gone into deep research to thoroughly identify teaching skills that could aid these children.
