The article titled “Teaching Creatively and Teaching for Creativity” is about the importance of creative teaching and the effects it has on music education. A teacher who uses creativity is able to inspire, motivate, and develop students who can function in the multiple roles of musical at various levels. However, having a creative professor does not guarantee that students will be influenced to be creative themselves. Teaching with creativity in mind makes us consider student’s differences rather than teaching them to be the same. Creativity keeps us interested in our teaching and keeps the attention of our students. I like this article better because the reading was very easy to understand; the article is simple yet interesting and beneficial. It does a good job of getting to the point of creativity; this article is straightforward yet profound. “Infusing Creativity and Technology in 21st Century Education” is much longer and more complicated than the other article. It is more informative compared to the other article because it thoroughly defines creativity and describes the interactions within creativity. It introduces the TPACK framework and elaborates on its function and purpose. Although I am familiar with technology, I don’t connect to it as well as I do to music.
