Nowadays tattoos have increased dramatically over the past decade. For those who have tattoos on their backs, arms, stomachs, and legs this stigma is inconsequential. There are discussing in many workplaces. It’s about decency in the society, because some workplace has the regulations forbid about tattoo. And also the modernization about culture and global. Its cause to allow each part of their body for tattooing and some career strongly acceptable, for instance, celebrity, star film, dancer, and factory worker. So when we mention about tattoos in the social that still has contrast, opinion, but this work we are going to talk about “Tattoos in the workplace are not really acceptable?” Firstly, The career acceptable about tattoo. A Pew Research Poll (done in 2010) showed that 23 percent of Americans have a tattoo. According to an article in the American Academy of Dermatology, about half of the people in their 20s have either a tattoo or body piercing (other than for pierced earrings) and the number is growing. Most of them really are gorgeous works of art such as actor, singer, writer, artist, photographer and other career in the different kind of career similar to an engineer , athlete, machinist, director most of them are careers which doing about art and rarely meeting with new people. Many companies have become increasing lenient about their policies which regarding tattoos. It means they can have tattoos if it's not too large and they can cover when they are in the workplace, even The U.S. Army changed the regulations in 2015 after realizing that its restrictions on tattoos were costing it recruits. For healthcare professionals tattoos may present problems in being hired to work because there are many side effects about tattoos in healthy HIV, AIDS and infection from the needles and effect of tattoo ink that will burn with radioactive (or MRI). For Police Officers and Law Enforcement it’s mean the stereotypical connection of tattoos being gang related and can be unprofessional and frightening for members of the public .So Company’s main reasons for not acceptable tattoos are they are not considered professional, Tattoos means negative stigma of being associated with crime activity and they can be complicate and will make trouble within the workplace – such as debates or arguments with customers And the last is The psychology about tattoos according to Criminal Anthropology (1895) and Savage Origins of Tattooing (1896), Cesare Lombroso laid out the foundations for literature examining the link between criminal and tattooing. Since then, researchers have noted the continuing combination between tattooed individuals and groups associate with crime.
