Some people just go and say to start a company and be the boss, supply what people want/need. Well it is harder than it looks, many people create their own start up business but without the right education such as a business degree from college the businesses will more than likely be unsuccessful. David F. Nobel the author of America by Design: Science, Technology, and the rise of Corporate Capitalism he states “By the end of the nineteenth century the schools lagged seriously behind the rapidly changing needs of the science based industries.”(28) It still relates to today because our education is ever changing and a person could end up never being finished with schooling. Employers looking to higher make it almost impossible to seem fit for the job. Someone is just entering the workforce with little to no experience has a hard time applying because employers are mainly looking for people who already have at least a years’ worth of experience within that field. Most employers would rather not take a chance with their store or company unless it pay was discussed and it is lower than the asking rate.
