Working In The Beauty Industry Essay

The beauty industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world. The world of makeup has catapulted from something certain individuals were a part of to a place where everyone is welcomed. Being successful in the beauty industry may require most beauty entrepreneurs to work internationally. My company in particular has outsourced a creative team in Abu Dubai – United Arab Emirates. There are many ups and downs when a company outsources anything internationally. The goal for my company is to have a new line of metallic eyeshadow pallets and highlighters for my company’s makeup line. Over the course of this paper I will show how working oversees can be difficult, but rewarding.
Working in the beauty industry can be challenging at times. There is always completion in the industry and it is important to have good, reliable allies. There are so many obstacles that can affect businesses that operate oversees. Language barriers, time barriers, and cultural barriers are a few of the differences that can keep business from even thinking of working internationally. Before I looked into all that goes into a society oversees I never imagined cultural differences. In America we have somewhat of a patriarch society, but not to the point where we are controlled without will by men.
