If you live, if you stay, it's up to you. Without commitment people won't achieve success. Without success you won't have anything in life. A commitment is the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc. What is the point of desiring success if you're not going to be committed? People must fight for what they wish for, nothing can be achieved with mediocrity.According to Gayle Forman's book If I Stay “You don't need to be good; you just need to be commited” (24). Sacrifices are needed in order to achieve success. Success is a very important aspect in a humans life because without it, what would people do? Humanity wouldn't have goals, passions or desires for life. In order to achieve success you must also make good decisions based on your priorities. Your choices are in your hand. Your choices will later on define your life... In the tragic novel If I Stay by Gayle Forman ,it is evident how different choices in life are greatly affected by one's desires, fears and perspectives. A choice is an act of selecting or making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities. A choice or a decision could affect your whole life, it could make it better or worse. In order to make a good decision you must put your priorities and desires in a balance and see which one is the most important. It seems scary but it's not impossible. Nothing is impossible in life if you really want it; if you just believe. Believing in yourself is they key term to making a right decision. Human's make mistakes. No one is perfect. If one fails, just keep trying until you get it right. Mia's daily struggle was wether dying was the right choice. According to Gayle, “You just work through it. You just hang in there.”.
