Every student run’s across studying for an exam at one point or another, regardless if they are in middle school, high school, college, or even a trade school. Some students can breeze through the school years, while others struggle with finding the right studying method’s, putting them at risk for failing a class and not being able to reach their full potential. Instructors are always willing to help students succeed and learn new ways to study, but there is little guidance on what learning techniques are most effective for improving educational outcomes. Whether those outcomes are to move on to next grade, graduate high school or obtaining a college degree. First, I plan to set a calendar with the times I am free and not in class to study. Then, I will feel in these slots on my calendar on my phone with set reminders stating two different study methods to achieve each day that were mentioned above, at different times to utilize all methods provided. I feel if I take the time to implement each method provided, then I will find that some studying methods work best for me and some don’t, or see that all these methods are helpful and help me understand the material more clearly. This will provide me with a different understanding on what I’m learning, and how to manage my time for efficiently. Having a more efficient studying method is relevant to me, because it is a key concept of me achieving my goal as becoming a nurse. The most effective time bound I will set for myself is three months. During these three months, I will set each day with two different studying methods for a two to four-hour grace period. I will have to take frequent breaks in between just to make sure I obtain all the information I am learning. I will also practice some other methods such as changing my sleep patterns, and pertaining a healthier lifestyle with exercise, and eating healthy foods. Also I will be reading each question closely that is being asked on an exam, and paraphrasing it to my own version will help me understand if I am answering the question correctly, avoiding misreading the question and giving an incorrect
