Student learning is the Key to Success Education paves the way for a good career. The school years are the grounding years of one 's education. Schools are institutions that lay the foundation of a child 's development. They play a key role in building character and developing children into responsible citizens and good human beings. Once completing school, one is all set to soar high in life, and enter the real world in pursuit of their dreams. The impacts of student learning varies in all households and is heavily influenced by their home life and parental involvement, technology usage and socioeconomic status. Students are more engaged and more motivated to learn skills on a computer because it applies to their life outside of school. Technology is beneficial to both the students and teachers. Having the hands-on approach allows a student to learn at their own pace and retain what they have learnt. For example, if a student is doing an interactive math assignment on the computer which they mastered, they will be able to move on rather than wait for all the other students to complete the same assignment. This approach allows the teacher to personalize a student’s education based on their own level of learning style. Technology can be used to boost confidence in a student learner as well. Students who may be shy or lack confidence may be more willing to participate with the use of technology. They can post their thoughts or ideas in an online discussion so others may see or ask questions they are unsure of while at the same time the student learner is building his or her confidence level. Utilizing the internet presents several learning opportunities. Students can access information across the world instantly. The internet is a good online research resource to assist with essays, research papers or presentations. Coming from a high and middle socioeconomic status, parents who are well educated ensure their children’s future by providing them a favorable learning environment and better education. Parents with a higher socioeconomic status will have more success preparing their children for school because they can provide resources for their children’s education. They are able to set up a learning environment within their home. For instance, buying books so a child could develop a routine of reading each day and have a better chance at attaining higher reading scores in school. Children whose parents who obtained degrees have a higher chance of attending college. Parents often motivate and encourage their children to pursue a higher level of education. Well educated parents motivate their children related to schooling and support them academically. Parents will reward their child for getting a good grade on their report card or passing a test they have studied hard for. They have great influence on the academic achievement of their children.
