The Importance Of Stress Management

My main focus would be to properly motivate my employees to maximize their output, while simultaneously fostering their commitment to my organization. This reason for this is due to the fact that as an entrepreneur, my business is going to be in the beginning stages and turnover will stunt my growth tremendously. I can’t focus on sales if I’m doing interviews weekly. I also want to reap the monetary benefits of not having to continuously train. I combine the two because I feel as if proper motivation of employees will burn a fire in them to see what heights they can reach in my organization. Looking at my commitment methods, it all starts with our support. First off, our training will be a little longer, but will provide all the ins and outs …show more content…
We feel our training resources will be a first good step. Ensuring they understand their role and job makes the position clear and less stressful. Next, we will make sure employees are stepping away for enough breaks and have a nice spot to relax, eat, etc. Preventing this daily burn-out is vital in not only reducing stress, but maximizing efficiency in their actual working time. Next, we will consult with outside clinics to create a toolkit for our employees, so they have access to information on better nutrition, relaxation techniques, better sleep patterns, and other methods to reduce stress. Finally, I and my mangers will be having monthly one-on-one’s with employees. A big part of this will be going over their performance and making sure they are on track, but it’s also to pick their brain on what they perceive as workplace stressors. We want to try and eliminate any hindrances we can, and focus on the challenges driving our employees. The employees should have determination, not deterioration. By doing these three things, I feel like we will set ourselves up for success. Focusing on commitment, motivation, and stress elimination will keep employees here longer, establish a reputation as a great employer (to bring in top quality applicants,) and drive home our overall goal of being an employee oriented and focused
