In my opinion, I believe it is truly important to stand up for what you believe. I, personally, believe in standing up against drugs because every day people that overdose lose their lives, and those that do not end up in hospitals with very serious health conditions. When I was younger, I had an uncle that did drugs. I did not know until I was older, but the uncle that I highly looked up to was a drug addict. One day, he was diagnosed with lung cancer, and later he died. Before he died, he did his best to resist the impulse of smoking and doing any other drug to give his family something pleasant to remember him by;and so, that is the reason why I look up to him. No one should ever have to witness a loved one’s life ripped away by an idiotic
