The Bible is considered to be the book of the Church and it is to be the true word of God. The Bible was written by the hands of Men through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,” (2 Timothy 3:16, NIV) There are those that believe the stories from the Bible are mere fairy tales that one shouldn’t put hope in. I have heard that same quote many of times and just as recent prior to the elections because of my candidate choice. God has also said, “Above all, you do well if you recognize this: No prophecy of scripture ever comes about by the prophet’s own imagination, for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.” (2 Peter 1:20-21, NET) “In these literary corpora, we find literary genres such as historical narratives, law codes, poetry, wisdom literature, prophecy, apocalyptic literature, biographic narratives, arts and letters.
