I found thisextremely interesting because, it reminded me a lot of the daycare I work at and how wehave ratios for every classroom. So a certain teacher can only be in a room with acertain amount of kids almost the same as with how many nurses are a loud to be witha certain amount of residents. I Think this is very smart and I completely agree becausenurses can only watch and take care of so many people without becoming unorganizedand frustrated. I believe that there should be one resident to every 5 people during theirshifts so that those residents are getting the proper care and that way those nursesknow everything about their own resident. I will be able to use this information in mycareer because i will definitely find out the ratios in every hospital that I work in andmake sure that all of my patients get lots of attention and get all the care they will need. I would like to know more about how the CNA nurses and the higher up certificatednurses are distributed evenly throughout nursing homes, and how each nurse isassigned to each resident. Are the RN nurses put with the residents that need morecare? Because of the training or are the CNA’s with them while the RN’s just come inand check up on them? I think the authors could have gone a little more into therelationships between nurses and residents and what each nurse does in specificnursing homes. There are very positive impacts on this industry by sitting down
