Silence and solitude is becoming a big part of my life because it has shown me the importance of taking a break from distractions of work, technology, and life in general. The three hours spent focused directly on God helps recover and to refocus on what really matters. Each year I want to add one new spiritual discipline. For instance, my sophomore year add Scripture, Junior year add confession and spiritual direction so that I may have an outsider looking in on my near end to college and the beginning of career. God is not a boss or landlord, he is my father and loves me unconditionally. During these upcoming years I need to remember that God answers prayers by what we really need not by what I think I need. The chapter that impacted me the most in Spiritual formation was chapter seven which talks about how God cares about me and that sometimes what we think we need is, not truly what we need, but God gives us ultimately what we need. I also, plan on working on my quickness to forgiveness. Meaning that I need to reflect and make sure that I have no forgiveness. Also, I need to become quicker to forgive because I tend to hold grudges. We are to forgive as God has forgiven us. I need to reflect and make sure that I have no forgiveness. Also, I need to become quicker to forgive because I tend to hold grudges. We are to forgive as God has forgiven us. The practices that fit me is silence and solitude, and prayer because I tend to be introverted and I get more out of taking my time and just having a quiet place so that I can focus on God and God alone. Although, I would like to join a Bible study so that I can balance out my reflection with action and awareness. With that being said I tend to ignore action and awareness, I have the plans and have the steps,
