Auguste Comte, who coined the word sociology from the Latin word socius. He sought to establish sociology as a science no interference of religion arguments about society and human nature. Sociology is the study of human nature and their behavior. It is the discipline that attempts to understand social forces. In order to study people’s behavior and their nature sociologist looks at different social groups to understand how social groups shapes people’s lives. Everyone belongs to different kinds of groups. These groups’ controls people 's daily life and control their behavior. Social group also influences people’s decision, such as people will do things which is correct in societal view. Every month this group meets many times and has a guest speaker who is more knowledgeable in Islam than any other person . However after ASR ( one of the Muslim prayer) group of people sits together and discuss Sharia just like Waz but their discussion is mostly about translating the Koran. So people could be enlighten about Islam and have no false idea about it. In The discussion they discuss the Koran and the norms of Islamic people. One member from the group would recite a part from the Koran and then the group discussion will be based on the reciting part. We discuss various events that is related to the topic and also people from the group would explain the meaning of the words that are in Koran. People explain it because it helps other people to have a better understanding of Islam and Koran and also it warns about the behavior that is allowed in Islam. This group, however does not discriminate any other religion or force any idea to the people that are present there. In the group discussion people discusses norms, conflict in society, individual and society, different roles of the gender in society …show more content…
Groups are needed to build a bridge between people so they can interact with each more and discuss the problems of the society. Groups bring people closer to each other instead of be isolated from rest of the world. The group consist of people who has similar perspective and has same values.
