American People Divide Analysis

There is a divide amongst the American people and this divide is financial. The top one percent of the financial division is known as the wealthy, the elite, the ruling class, the powerful and are held at the top of society’s chain. These elites are educated and are tasked with great responsibilities like identifying social needs. Some of these social needs may include, increasing people livability, focusing on society growth, employment, education, and welfare of the American people. One would think that since these elites are doing so well for themselves and family would understand the basic value of American people also wanting to provide for their family and love ones too. Many are lacking healthcare and proper meals in schools. The distribution of wealth is focused at the top and the American citizens need to start demanding their share, spreading equality and ensuring the future of our students in schools. The ninety nine percent needs access to the top schools and health care benefits, because the 99 percent is greater than the one percent. By uplifting these citizens, the government and elite would be helping the majority or the whole. But many are just too selfish share the wealth. They instead find ways to hold the people down ensuring that minorities and blacks remain at the bottom, limiting us. Because education us might just expose them. Some students are going to school without meals and are left hungry all day, because their parent(s) cannot afford it. Some are unable to go to school because they are sick and cannot afford proper medical care or pay for the medications to get well. This something the one percent does not worry about. “The rich don’t need to rely on the government for parks or education or medical care or personal security- they can buy all these things for themselves” (Stiglitz, 2011). The ruling class needs to focus on educating all on all levels. They need to increase school provision and healthy treatment of the student’s body and mind for proper development. If not, then they are being robbed of the basic needs. Healthy food is expensive while unhealthy food choices are sold cheap/affordable leaving citizens with only one choice, purchase the affordable goods. When these same children eat all the unhealthy food their parent will now have to find an affordable medical plan to care for their children, who might later develop a condition like diabetes from eating unhealthy food and
