Specifically, the areas for improvement include interactive materials for consumers. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has an excellent source of how to use social media in an effective way as a communication tool to a community (2015). Improvements for the ADHS LinkedIn page would be additional sources of information such as POD Cast information, direct links to improvements and discoveries within the organization, responding to posts, and data and metrics that would help to educate. These improvements are necessary to disseminate information to a community that is otherwise not available. According to the CDC, the best way to create a social media site that engages the reader is: Identification of the target audience (in this case the ADHS site is lacking), determine the objective, select appropriate channels for the audience and invest an adequate amount of time to respond and promote the organization (this too is lacking in the ADHS site)
