Sleep apnea is whenever one can not recall dreams. Someone with sleep apnea has an irregular heart rate and breathing patterns, and loses memory consolidation. Twenty seven percent of Americans have occasional insomnia, while nine percent have chronic insomnia. Insomnia is whenever a person wakes up frequently and can never get enough sleep; leading to depression, anxiety, and unnatural sleeping habits. This disorder can be triggered by a drastic change in daily routine, however, this can dissipate within time (Web, MD, LLC, 2005-2015). Mainly adults experience snoring, because the air inhaled rattles against tissues that are relaxed in the throat. The only consequence is that it disrupts a partner’s sleep schedule. This disorder can take a negative toll, and can actually be a symptom of sleep apnea. Twenty percent of society has had at least one episode of sleepwalking; fifteen percent being children. Potential causes of sleepwalking include sleep deprivation, drinking alcohol, or being under extreme stress. Sleepwalking risks potential injury in the household or outdoors. Most sleepwalkers conduct activities, like cleaning, or simply bedwetting. It is not uncommon to urinate in cupboards or closets while sleepwalking. Some sleep tips may include devising a plan to strategize a healthy sleep schedule depending on the person’s responsibilities and age. Relaxing bedtime rituals can also be an effective way of getting to sleep quicker. Of course, adequate sleep can only be obtained through a healthy diet and physical activity, so, following these sleep tips and caring for one’s own sleep health is vital to live a pleasant lifestyle (Robinson, L,
