What is Sleep?
Anthropologists tell us that sleep and dreams have been central foci of many ancient cultures. In some culture, sleep was seen as a time for the soul to occupy another world. A common understanding in all the notions is that sleep is viewed as the result of lowered activity of the brain. Sleep is commonly looked upon as a periodic temporary cessation or interruption the waking state, which is the prevalent mode of existence for the healthy human adult. Waking up is simply the result of the brain being allowed to become fully active again or stimulated into such activity.

Scientists have proven that these dreams are symbolic representation of something within us. Here are few dreams that occur to most of us frequently.
Being naked in public
At times in a dream we realize that we are totally naked. This may interpret that we have something what we want to hide.
Falling
Almost all might have had a dream as to falling from a place high up after which we suddenly wake up. This may interpret that we cannot stop something which is out of our control.
Being Chased
Many may dream like they are being chased by someone, which may be a very fearsome dream. This symbolizes that we may run away from our problems instead of facing them.
Flying
Few might have experienced that they fly in their dreams and this means that we have control of things. It is a symbol of having success.
