I slightly modified the length of the goals based on the objective and purpose of the project. I set small daily goals that comprised of a combination of getting more sleep and nightly preparations. I also set what is considered long term goals by developing personal goals based on the short term goals. The first long term (weekly goal) I set was to complete case review assignment in full per week. Since, the details of my job cannot be explained within this paper, suffice it to say this chore was no easy feat. The first week, I did just this. This time around, I built a foundation of accomplishment on what I already knew. I knew that I worked best when I could prepare in advance, but I also knew that I could not prepare for everything so I made modifications where acceptable. The next week’s long term goal challenged me to another level. I volunteered to complete an on the job function that I have never attempted before. In previous assessments and assignments I mentioned that there were some tasks of the job that I have never done and because of the lack of training, I tend to stress out about the job at hand and go into shut-down mode. However, because I allowed myself time to prepare early, I did research on the matter prior to attempting the task the next week. Though this did not completely alleviate my angst, I did feel a bit more confident that I could complete the task. Once I finished the task, I allowed myself a moment of intrinsic reward. I actually smiled at the thought of completing something that I have never attempted …show more content…

At times, I would set up my calendar for a solid hour solely figuring out how I would survive the next week. I may have had a lot of acquaintances from my activities, but I rarely hang out with friends out-side of school. No one was necessarily my ‘best friend’ only because I refused to commit time to social endeavors. Not having ‘friends’ didn’t bother me. But, friends serve as backbones when needed, objective bystanders and fruitful conversationalists.…

After completing the campaign for the semester, I have learned that I am better at managing a team than I give myself credit for. At the beginning of the semester, I didn’t have much experience managing other people and was worried about how I would be able to handle it. All in all, I was able to keep the team on track, for the most part, throughout the whole campaign process. I was very happy with how much I was able to get out of people and how hard everyone worked on the campaign. If there is one thing that I could improve on, it would be to be tougher on people who are not doing there share.…

I would say this is the main issue we are facing. We both used to put in the same amount of effort in our friendship without even trying. This year, I felt that I was putting in a lot more effort than her. I handled it the wrong way at first, I ignored her instead of talking to her about it. This all started when I realized that even though we go out every day, I put in a lot more effort in this friendship than her, so I told myself that I wouldn’t call her and wait to see if she did.…
