Unfortunately, these teenagers will feel awkward and more uncomfortable to speak about it. It’s important for parents to recognize that talking to our children is a very important part of their communication process. If parents fail to acknowledge their child’s need to communicate about their sexual curiosity, they should not be surprised that suppressed feeling and insecurities will follow their children through adulthood.
