This organization is dedicated to eliminating human trafficking by means of accreditation, advocacy, education, and restoration efforts. Abolition International focuses on the global scale as well as nationally with a team of individuals in the United States, United Kingdom, Cambodia, and Norway who are determined to end human trafficking. This organization has speakers who travel to different areas to speak about human trafficking around the world. Unfortunately, this organization has not made its way to very many smaller suburban areas to spread their vast knowledge to the youth due to their large scale. Not only are people rescued from their enslaved lives, they are given restorative care, therapy, and support in order to continue their lives as individuals (Cooley). Sex trafficking in Indiana, for example, and across the country is high profit with low risks. There is less than a 1 percent chance of being convicted of sex trafficking in the United States; with human labor being so cheap, a trafficker can make $1,100 per person, per week, according to Raio Krishnayya, founder and executive director of Indiana 's Center for Victim and Human Rights (Green, 2011). An organization in South Dakota called “The New Colossus” was created to establish a place where people can gain insight and information on human trafficking. This organization realized that about 300,000 children in the United States are victims of sex trafficking violence. The large number of victims inspired many individuals to spring into action in order to spread awareness of the issue. Organizations like this one inspire citizens to take action and inform the nation and globe about the very intimidating, yet real, issue of sex trafficking
