The people will be ready to follow the directions of the leader who consider them worthy. Thus, a servant leader can promote teamwork and cooperation among the people they lead (Jennell, Odom, & Weaver, 2011). Collegiality, teamwork, and collaboration with others are essential in giving comprehensive care to the patient and their family. The practice of the servant leadership helps increase the satisfaction of the patients, their family and the colleagues in nursing. Not only that, the different characteristics of a servant leader like those mentioned above would improve the empowerment of others.
