An obvious question is: What is meant by 'privileged' and 'entitled'? Given definitions, one could perhaps study the question and decide empirically if those groups are indeed disproportionately represented. If we assume for a moment that they are, then the question becomes "why are they disproportionately represented?" I speculate that one reason for raising the question is because the students in the Honors College are disproportionately from wealthier backgrounds. This would hardly be surprising because of the educational access advantages that those students possess.
