Mt.Everest is the tallest mountain on earth. It is 29,000 feet tall and 5 and ½ miles long. Mt.Everest was formed 60 million years ago. There are 10,000 people who tried to attempt to climb Mt.Everest and left behind garbage. There is so much garbage about 10 tons still littering the slopes.

There are lots of different kinds of garbage on the mountain. Corpses of climbers who never made it down lie hidden in the snow. There is tents too, the reason why is because people died and the tents were left there. There is oxygen clinders left behind. It is so heavy for them to carry up and down, and it would be easier if they didn't have to bring all of the oxygen clinders up and down with them. Also climbers would dig holes in the snow for a toilet, so they would leave human …show more content…
They have tried things to clean up the garbage. Climb teams leave a 4,000 deposit that they lose if they don't comply with the regulations.They have collected over 8 tons of garbage. The last 2 years, association collected over 10 tons of
