Running for a political public office involves countless challenges and numerous layers of responsibilities. Most people who wish to pursue a government position will have years of experience behind them. A political figure should be able to make confident decisions that will benefit the majority of the population. Experience, education, tenacity, and fairness are imperative characteristics of a dedicated successful politician. An effective campaign requires a capable plan that is organized from the beginning. A candidate should be an effective speaker. They also need a support system by their family, friends, colleagues, and the community. I would prefer to start a GoFundMe.com campaign. When asking for donations, I would push for a large lump sum of funds from various corporations and individuals. Holding events on the various levels of income hierarchy would be beneficial so as to expose my agenda to everyone not just a few elite groups of society. Wealthier groups will naturally pay more per plate while lower income neighborhoods would afford a lesser amount. Holding two separate events would allow a diverse group people to attend the events. Another way to raise funds for my political campaign is to avoid over ordering materials, including supplies. Assistance from volunteers will also help reduce costs. Ultimately, I would delegate work to “trust-worthy” funding supporters. The leading reason I would not like to run for office is due to my age. At 51 years old, it is not a feasible idea since politicians have to gain years of experience prior to actually running for office. A person who wishes to pursue a career in politics needs to begin the journey in their early twenties. Thus, they are soundly prepared for the seat by the time they reach a higher level of maturity. Dealing with issues and resolving social problems is not within my scope of talents. My abilities encompass teaching children.
