“Mom and Dad can I ask you something?” I asked. They looked at me with a remarkable amount of uneasiness. Followed up by one word, “Yes?” I then proceeded to tell them about wanting to go to a gaming event that was called MLG Columbus. They knew I played Call of Duty on an immense level but traveling to Columbus, Ohio to compete was something they never expected to hear. “Theses gaming events have an average attendance of 20,000 people. It is not some small thing,” I said. “I’ll be with my three friends who I’ve known for years,” I said with a glimpse of hope to make it sound better. “There is Jordan who lives in New Jersey and I have known him for six years, next is Russell who lives in Virginia and him and I have been good friends for about four years now, and last but not least is Cameron who is from Canada and we have been great friends for around seven years,” I said with a sudden surge of excitement that this may actually work. We started our first round of the tournament and I could not begin to describe the sudden adrenaline rush to my head. “Lets go boys!” I screamed trying to hype my team up. After a long fought battle on a virtual video game, we had won. It was only the first round but we were still thrilled. Next round comes up and we win it with ease. Next up is our third round and we get off to a bad start. I knew we had to get our head back in the
