Regardless, you still need to be able to stay positive and work for what you want. Now I know that you cannot ever give up and in order to succeed you need to take risks.
As the saying goes, “you have to get back on the horse”, but when it comes to riding you actually do. I have had plenty of horrifying falls off of my horses and ponies, but because I am teaching my animals every time I ride them, I literally need to get back on and correct the mistake. I have fallen off more times than I can count and have had to get back on with a bleeding chin, bruises, cuts, and even filthy clothes from the footing. If you don’t mount the horse again right after you fall, it’s most likely that you are severely hurt, which luckily has only happened to me once *knock on wood*. …show more content…
During some of my horseshows one of my best friends was riding against me. I would definitely say that she is more competitive than I am and expects to do get firsts. When she beats me or if I beat her, I have to make sure that I’m being a good sport. I try to lose gracefully and to be modest if I beat her. It’s sometimes difficult to express that you’re happy with how your friend did if you know there’s something that you should’ve done differently, but I’ve always tried to make sure they
