While traditional justice systems are based on punishing perpetrators, restorative justice focuses on healing the harm that has been inflicted -- personality and community wide.” When someone is actually talking about what they did wrong then they can actually feel a difference in himself. When people do feel a difference in himself they learn for the best.
Furthermore, Restorative Justice can not only open up kids mind, but it can open up their inner self.
