During the process of going to college many questions arise about the status of the relationship that a person has with their friend: What if our proximity was all that’s been holding us together? What if we grow apart? What if college changes us into different people? What if we all make new friends and our memories are all we have in common once graduation rolls around? Who am I without them? When one becomes so used to certain things such as how their friends act, the things they can say, and even the environment when they are together. Though it is difficult at first to adapt to a new acquaintances, in the end sometimes it turns out to be be for the best because some of those acquaintances turn into your family. Whether it is something for the better or something that brings out the worst in a person, the path that is chosen by them makes them either gain or lose friends since their changes may not be approved by their friends. A scenario that exemplifies the meaning is while growing up if a student is an honor student is always studying and eager to learn, they will attain friends that also share that same personality. As they are grow up they start to realize that there is more to life than always doing homework and studying, so they decide to go to football games and join different clubs. While the friends are still eager to learn they start to realize that the student is starting to change and they do not approve, so they all start to do their own things ways which may cause them to split. Being in high school, most kids are at the most weirdest stages in life. Most are going through so much just with their bodies such as periods, puberty, facial hair, growing into a womanly figure, and hormones. With that happening, adolescents do not always make the best choices or hanging out with the right crowd. Since that happens friends become strangers and once high school ends, most leave the awkwardness behind and start forming into what they believe an outstanding citizen is.
