Growing up, Georgetown University was the end goal. The plan was that I would study hard, take difficult classes, do extracurriculars that interested me and I would be able to meet my goal, however that did not happen. I have been avoiding Georgetown’s campus ever since I came to started the school year like a deep rooted, which it was. I thought that if I went to Georgetown’s campus I would feel like an outsider since I am not a student there, and because I was rejected by the school. Rejection has always been one of my greatest fears, but a question I have is why? Rejection can be used as a tool to improve, and to fear it can lead to not trying in order to not be rejected. Entering the gates to the University gave me great anxiety, firstly
