Students would benefit tremendously if the NYS Board of Education would free them from the pressure of preparing for non-essential Regents exams. New York State is the only state that issues Regents exams. This is quite overwhelming because it’s putting stress on already stressed out students. To have to pass State Regents exams is a factor that also causes people who obtain their education from New York to feel overwhelmed. This poses the question, why don’t the other states have to require a Regents exam to graduate high school?
