"I am afraid the numbers will rise as divers continue the search," Mehmet Unal Sahin, the mayor of Ayvacik. Refugees were trying to go to Europe and live a free life. As refugees were trying to go to Europe they left everything behind to start fresh and get away from everything. Leaving makes people either sad or happy and it hurts your family when you leave, it leaves them with pain in their hearts. I believe leaving is trying to survive without help. Leaving makes an impact not on you, but your family because they have to cope with you doing this on your own and to be able to succeed.
Leaving means making your family heavyhearted. Withdrawing from your family is hard because you do not want to see them sad. When I moved to Minnesota from

People think leaving feels like an accomplishment because you are going on your own and trying to survive by yourself. Similar to the book Into the Wild when Chris McCandless left to travel to Alaska. He did this journey where he walked to different states and I anticipate he wanted to prove that he could do this on his own. Chris left without telling his parent’s where he was, he just packed his backpack and left for his journey. He met people while on his journey who were very helpful and Chris did not want the things that people offered. He made a couple of friends and when they grew attached to Chris, he left without considering how they felt. Considering that Chris just packed up and go was easy for him because he did not care how people felt. I was under the impression that Chris did not like his family, he talked about them to the people he met, but for myself, I think that Chris should of talked with them or called them to tell him where he went so that they know where he is and …show more content…
Leaving is something that I am used to, I had people leave in and out of my life. They leave and they do not understand how you feel and it hurts when people you had love and grown attached to them have left you. I have moved from one place to another place, so I am used to leaving and I will probably move somewhere else in the future. I am so use to leaving that sometimes I do not feel like I belong because of the so much moving in my life. Seeing my family sad because we moved was the hardest because I do not have a lot of family here and it is hard on my mom, my sister and I but we love being here. For instance, John Green wrote a book Paper Towns, the character Margo she leaves whenever she pleases, she sneaks out her window and finds new adventures to do while she is out. Quentin use to hang out with Margo until high school left and they drifted apart until one night she came to his window to ask him to help her get revenge on her boyfriend and friends. They had this one night and then the next day Margo left and she did not tell her family where she went, she left a couple of clues that her friend Quentin would find. Quentin searched everywhere for her and eventually found her. The reason she left because she wanted to be on her own and she ended up living in a small town where it was peaceful. Margo is kind of like Chris McCandless because they both left without telling anyone where they went. They both packed up and went to find new

The influences he faced had inspired and motivated him to go out and form a new life away from his old one. Although some say that Chris McCandless was a risk taker and went into the wilderness to explore, the real reason why Chris left was because of family and literary influences. Leo is stating that in life you have to suffer a great deal, the suffering leads to a great deal of happiness in life. Chris viewed this as an inspiration, because he had suffered throughout his journey, even though he had a lot of obstacles he did not quit until he finally met his initial point, it is what made him happy.
