Rape is one of the filthiest, most vile crimes imaginable.It is a silencer and a brainwasher. It always includes violence and assault. It ruins the purity and damage the soul in the victim. Still, in our 21st century, rape's punishment is nothing compared to other crimes and nothing can happen if the rape is not proved which is hard in many cases. Kids who get raped do not really understand what is going on. Kids and young children are still exploring and they still do not know what "sex" is or "penis" or "vagina" and how they all function; all they know is that their moms told them to not let anyone "touch" or "see" them down there without explaining consequences or why they were asked to not let people touch or see their private part. When a child is raped or even a teenager, they prefer avoiding the problem. Teenagers know what rape is and they will feel ashamed that they got raped so therefore they do not talk to their parents about it or to anyone. After rape, there are many effects like being scared to sleep or the fear of being alone with a someone older than you or fear of loneliness since they feel like no one wants to be with someone who got "raped".
