Although, many do not agree with the unfairness that is being caused by the larger amount the proposition is planning to raise the percentage even higher. They would increase and extend the proposition if it goes through. This proposition would just extend but not continue forever. Perhaps by 2% more or maybe even higher, which makes it worse for those who make more than $250,000 annually. Voters supported higher income and sales taxes in 2012 because governor Jerry Brown proposed that the proportion would be temporary. The budget today has excess so that tax increase would stop since California is financially stable and has enough to pay for most funds.
