In the span of the american history, race has affected and brought forth so much to this nation ever since the beginning. Race was and is still extremely important to american history. Not only did it bring cultural differences but also ethnicity into the states making America a wide range of different races. I myself do agree that race has played a central role in the history of the United States. Without the race equality in America, America would never be the same. Basically all of the different people from all these different countries bring over their culture making this country one of its own. Because the black americans were given some rights that doesn’t mean they were as equal as any other american. Their relationships with the white americans changed so much because of how the blacks had fought their way to be as equal as the others. Basically putting those two races in a relationship that could be either good or bad. I guess that depends on who you are or how you feel about everything that has happened. After World War 2 the leadership roles and discrimination against other races have changed dramatically. Especially during the time period that Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Junior had fought for their rights and changed the history for the black americans. Rosa Parks had sat in a seat that was supposedly a seat for a white person. Because she sat in the wrong seat she was thrown off the bus and arrested for breaking the law. That because of the race relations in American history we are as equal as George Washington wanted America to be. Because of american history we became a more diverse society rather than a split community with different laws and rights that we had to go by. Yes there is still arguments over immigrants and people of a different race taking over jobs and homes and even cities. The result of the role of race in american history as actually brought out the best in America. Maybe not financially but in a way that makes America America. Like for example we wouldn’t have a lot of the products and home things because of our history with the Chinese and Japanese. If we never went to war with the Japanese during the Second World War we wouldn’t have these items sushi, computer products, suzuki, motorcycles, cars, toyota, and a ton of other
