Proper grammar will be very important in my career. Communication skills I need to qualify and work in my career are analytic skills, detail-oriented, integrity, interpersonal and technical skills. Good grammar will help me prove this to future employees. I will be working directly with healthcare staff, using EHR computer software and analyzing electronic data. I will need to organize and manage health information data and maintain its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security in both paper files and electronic systems. I will be using various systems to code and categorize patient information for insurance reimbursement purposes, record patient’s health, medical history, symptoms, treatments, exam, and test results. The health care professionals and insurance professionals will be the ones reading my writings. I will need good grammar and editing skills because my job requires me to organize and categorize the patients’ information for insurance purposes and for the healthcare professionals.
