Pro-choice is the most sensible standpoint on abortion at this day and time. If abortion was made illegal, it would not stop the process of aborting a fetus, but actually make it dangerous, unsafe, unsanitary and harmful because people would be performing abortions on their own or worse, doing things that they think would terminate their pregnancy (such as consuming alcohol or drugs), but ending with their child being born with illnesses or defects. Pro-choice reaches out to all women and whether or not a woman decided to keep their baby or not, it’s comforting to know that they have a say about their body and their future. It’s vital to keep the lifestyle of families today healthy and thriving, not struggling and scary. Pro-choice leaves the

“No woman can call herself free who does not own and control her own body. No woman can call herself free until she can choose consciously whether she will or will not be a mother.” (Lader, 18) This quote by Margaret Sanger shows the opinion of the Pro-Choice stance on Abortion. In order to understand the Pro-Choice stance on abortion completely, it’s necessary to examine how an abortion affects a mother’s education and career, a child’s survivability, a mother’s health, and the definition of personhood.…

The term “pro-life” means anti-abortion. To say that someone is “pro-life” is to say that the person has an obligation to respect and legal protection for every human life regardless of viability, intent, or quality of life concerns. The pro-life movement is basic and solid: “The preservation of life itself” Because life itself is prior. Their goals are to protect the right to life. However, the debate opposite, “pro-choice” believe that individuals have unlimited autonomy with respect to their own body.…

Since the 1900s women have found ways to have rights. On January 22, 1973 the U.S. Supreme Court said it was a woman’s right to have an abortion due to the Fourteenth amendment. This case, Roe v. Wade, is a case that went down in history and to this day, still has the public bickering over the results. On one hand, you have citizens that are pro-life and believe life is created at conception, and that every life is valuable and should not be destroyed. On the other hand, you have citizens that are pro-choice and believe life does not start until the child is born into the world, and up until that point it should be up to the woman if she wants to keep the fetus.…

Pro Choice vs. Pro Life There are many reasons on both sides of this issue of why people believe it is or is not okay to have an abortion. Many believe that it is a woman’s right to choose to end her pregnancy or not. The U.S. Supreme Court has declared that it is a right guaranteed by the Constitution. Many would also believe that in choosing to end her pregnancy, she is committing murder, and that although the child is unborn, it is still a living being with the same right to live as its mother. Pro Choice gives women the right to decide if having a child is right for her, and that choice does not end the moment she becomes pregnant.…

I'm pro-life when it comes to abortion i feel their is only one exception to this and that's rape. If you're old enough to spread your legs then you're old enough to take responsibility for your actions those babies don't have a choice, they didn't ask to be brought into this world you did it to them so taking their life away before it fully begins then in my opinion i feel you should be locked up for murder of a child, endangerment of an unborn child, child abuse…… i feel that those should be punishable by death you're killing human beings still they didn't ask to be here you did this to them you have no right to take a human beings choice. There has been a long existing debate of “Pro-Life” versus “Pro-Choice” about whether or not women should be able to abort a child. Many people being Pro-Choice will use the argument that the fetus isn 't a living person, and rather that it is the woman’s body; therefore the woman’s choice. There are other options women have such as adoption: waiting until the baby is born and providing the child a well-suited family to properly care for them. I believe any way you can avoid aborting a child is better than abortion because you give the child a chance for life. An unborn child in the womb contains all of the characteristics for it to be considered living, proving abortion is morally and scientifically wrong.…
