That is because in Islam, there ARE daily morning routine prayers that include being grateful for all that you have been blessed with. Keep in mind that as I am referring to “prayers,” I do not mean the mandatory five prayers a day that most people know are key to the Muslim faith. I am simply referring to the act of wording your “wants” (forgiveness, heaven, wealth…) and praising God. Basically, this is the act of invocation. These daily morning prayer (invocation) routines give thanks for all blessings, give praise to the creator, and ask of his blessings (health, wealth, success….); the key difference here is that now, your feeling grateful is complete. You are aware and are intentionally being grateful to the proper source of what you are grateful for.
