Youth have physical needs in order to grow healthy; they also have needs to grow healthy in spiritual. Indeed, youth need spiritual growth. There are many aspects of spiritual growth training. Whitney (2014) states, “Spiritual Disciplines are commended in Scripture: Bible intake, prayer, worship, evangelism, service, stewardship, fasting, silence and solitude, journaling, and learning.” (p. 7)
Prayer
Prayer is the spiritual breath. It is spiritual connection to God. However, most of the youth does not have any sense to pray to God, either to have a daily prayer. We should learn how to pray and teach youth to pray.
In Matthew 6: 9-13, Jesus taught disciples how to pray.
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come.

Lanier (1992) states that there are six petitions in the prayer of Jesus. In the first part is about three petitions of glorify God. In this part, Jesus states the concern of father’s reputation, pray the coming of heavenly kingdom and fulfillment of father’s will in the heaven and earth. The second part of the prayer is “three petitions concerning the needs of his followers and him- self, and a clarification” (Lanier, 1992, p. 60). In the last part, Jesus asks disciples acknowledge God.
Bible study “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”(John 5: 39. There should have process to study bible, according to the nature of the youth age. From easy to medium, deeper level learning process. Bible study also need various way, ask questions, post assignment, task learning and etc. The study should be as simple as possible, it emphases to understand the key point of bible scripture, and remember short verse.

Chinese government did lots of effects to enhance people’s inner life. However, Chinese government failed in religious education. There are many challenges that reduce youth’s spiritual demand and development. In order to help youth grow spiritually, church need to face several challenges, such as government policy, game and Internet addiction, premarital sexuality, family abuse, and church ignorance. Based on the challenges, church leaders could lead youth has daily prayer, bible study, spiritual devotion and activities, have meditation, and persuade youth addend evangelist campaign. All in all, church has very strong responsibility to nurture youth growth spiritual
