Most people wouldn’t consider this one that big of an issue, but having corrupted water is a lot more serious than you may expect. Water pollution is basically just the contamination water. It doesn’t matter what it’s infected with, it could be chemicals from acid rain, fecal matter, trash, etc. “The main things that usually contaminate our water sources are pesticides that we use to keep bugs and insects away from our plants, fertilizers that we use to help make our grass grow, any form of air pollution that is then condensed in the clouds and then precipitated back down and becoming acid rain, atmospheric deposition, and sewage (waste water)” (Water Pollution: An Introduction 1).
Finally, the last pollution category is pollution of our land. “Land pollution is the destruction of the Earth’s land surface by man because of the misuse of resources” (“Land Pollution” 1). Land pollution is caused by deforestation, erosion, overcrowding of landfills, industrialization, and any type of construction activities. These are all complications with the fact that our population is growing and becoming more industrialized which is leading to the actions of deforestation, which is the cutting down of trees and habitats to build highways, buildings, etc. (Causes, Effects, and Solutions of Land Pollution
