In the working time, I need go to storehouse to find some products. Although our stock room was managed very well, sometimes it was hard to find certain pieces if you are not familiar with the product reference number and extra information. So I was considered comparatively not efficient at the beginning of the work. As a student in the BUSI 440 course I have found myself really enjoying and looking forward to the assignments. During the first weeks of the course, we were assigned to read over two articles explaining why internships matter. While reading such articles I noticed how much I agreed with the information, in “The Positive Implications of Internships on Early Career Outcomes” the author Nathalie Saltikoff brought up the point that students graduating with internship experiences in general are more likely than students without experiences to find employment. This statement made me realize how important internships truly are. If I look back at my past internship and work experiences, I notice that I was able to expand my networking circle and improve my thought process.…

The client brought in a completed floor plan, and came to select finishes and cabinetry. As we were walking through the floor plan we discussed the layouts of the bathrooms and kitchen.…

I have found that, along with being integrated with graduate recruitment, work experience increases the employability of interns by improving their networking and professional skills, putting them in an advantageous position in the competitive graduate market. However, the value of these benefits depends on the career choice of the individual but overall it should remain beneficial, unless it is unpaid and not followed by a job offer, in which case the benefits are greatly diminished. Despite this, I believe work experience would be beneficial to an individual’s future career based on their improved position in the graduate job market, no matter what career they choose, and increased job satisfaction. Looking into the future, with the number of graduates growing each year, it seems inevitable that the value of work experience will continue to rise relative to that of a degree, indicating that work experience will become increasingly beneficial when competing in the graduate job market. Currently, however, academic programmes are regarded superior due to the lack of research into the effectiveness of internships which diminishes the legitimacy of such programmes.…

Sometimes life happens and things don’t go according to our plan, but I don’t think that should have an impact on our jobs and should put us behind. If I’m leading a project at work and have to guide my team, my first and the most important tool is to break the task into steps which makes the job look easier and shorter and then have check points so nobody gets lost and things are smooth. I ’d break the job in such a way that each member gets the task they are good at, which will make it easier for each individual. My second essential technique is to keep on giving my team members’ reminders for the deadlines to ensure nobody’s behind and everyone’s on the same page.…

It wasn’t easy at the beginning since it was my first experience but having all the support from staff and management was a major push that helped me to achieve them . Two major goals I had during this internship were working on new tasks while depending on myself and solving problems in a very rational calm way whether I faced any . Working in such field requires dealing with different people from all around the world so many have different way of thinking and different strategies and that could lead to facing many challenges , I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do it…
