Overcoming Unethesirable Patterns

In life we often find ourselves doing undesirable tasks. These tasks we wish to overcome, but first we need to be able to find the issue. Figuring out these patterns can be difficult, and overcoming them can be even more difficult. The purpose of this project, is to target the patterns, and figure out how to overcome them, because we all know that they will not just go away on their own. My most undesirable patterns are, snoozing my alarm clock and not being able to get up early, along with letting fear discourage me from going out and trying new things. Getting up early has never been a preference of mine, but as I am getting older I am realizing that it is going to be something that I will have to do for the rest of my working career. I know that in order to get up earlier, I will have to get to bed earlier. Getting less sleep would also be an option, but that will eventually start to wear my body down, I try to get 8 hours of sleep every night There are a few reasons for me staying up late at night. The first is entirely my fault. It is because I find it hard to get to bed at a decent time at night. Often nights when I get into bed, I do not feel tired, so I end up on my phone browsing the internet. This has almost become a routine …show more content…
All of my friends were back home, and I was down in a new town, where I only knew a handful of people. It was very overwhelming, and wanting to go back to the small town of Poynette constantly crossed my mind.
