I can relate with what he believes because as a young woman desiring to be a teacher, I often hear that teaching as an occupation doesn’t really pay the bills and lacks the financial stability of other occupations, such as a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. I love the idea of teaching and encouraging the youth of the next generation, but do I want to sacrifice the financial gain I could obtain pursuing other careers. Moreover, teaching isn’t the only job that is passion driven, but other occupations such as artists, musicians, firemen, and policemen also are occupations that you ultimately make sacrifices.
