The Importance Of Overcoming Obstacles

Obstacles are an everyday occurrence in life. Some are small causing short lived distress while others seem to shake us to our very core. I have had my share of problems both large and small and I have found that the most difficult obstacle I have overcome is the financial problems we have gone through for over six years. When I moved to Texas I was very young so I didn’t know what was really going on at the time but I do remember when we bought a small house close to my family members just for my father, mother and I. It was only the tree of us until four years later when my mom received great news and was expecting a baby. We were all very ecstatic to add another member to the family even though we weren’t financially stable. As the years went by fast, things were getting better. We were happier, healthier, and financially stable and we were closer to God than ever. Without Him we wouldn’t have the strength we do know to continue with life and moving forward. In 2009 my dad worked really hard to buy us a new home for the family and he succeeded. It was a beautiful one story house in Regency that at the time felt like it was too much but we couldn’t say no to this amazing offer. Six years. Six years we lived …show more content…
I kept denying and denying the fact that we were going to lose our home of 8 years. I only came to realize when I got home from school and there were cardboard boxes in my room waiting to be filled with all of my belongings. Boxing all of our clothes, furniture, kitchen supplies, and TV’s took around four weeks to pack everything up. We could have finished earlier but we were still sad about leaving so we didn’t want to hurry. During that time of packing we were looking for apartments or houses for rent. It took us a while due to them having only two rooms, the rent was too high or simply because we did not like them at all. Finally after looking at lists of rents we chose a small house that was on
