Outsourcing is just an easy way for big corporations to make billions, while they spend little to get the products they sell. Companies say they outsource to help the less fortunate, but you can’t help the less fortunate when they lost the job they had because the company they worked for went out of business. This creates an unfair competition for the factories in the U.S. because they can’t drop the prices and wages of the employees as low as the third world countries. That are paying their workers pennies a day to do the same work Americans are doing for no less than minimum wage which average in the U.S. is $7.25 an hour. Outsourcing is honestly doing the exact opposite for what this country needs. It takes American jobs and sends them overseas to cheap paying third world countries. With the loss of jobs workers aren’t safe from being laid off. Whether a worker has only been working at a factory for few days or several years their job can still be in jeopardy. The effects of these layoffs continue to affect workers for years on end. Outsourcing is one of the main suppliers of unemployment in America and will continue to take jobs until there are nearly no more American factory jobs and no more American made

Trade does, from time to time, create losers and, unfortunately, there is no way of protecting them. When a company relocates its plants to another country, as mentioned above, it costs many people their livelihoods. Protecting these jobs, however important and morally correct it may be, will stunt economic growth in the long run. If a factory is not relocated for the sake of saving jobs, it no longer has the ability to produce more at a cheaper rate. The economy is no longer growing, it is stuck in the same place it was when the company started.…

The answer lies in false advertising and the limitation of facts available to the general public about trucking as a career. Going into the industry, many people think they will be able to make large sums of money and be able to advance in the workplace. Most don’t know that trucking is essentially a scam until they are already roped in and tied down to a job as a trucker. Carriers exaggerate the amount of money truckers actually make and downplay the costs and how hard being a trucker really is. Many people don’t realize that as a trucker they will make very little money, be forced to spend extended periods of time away from home, and will even become indebted to the companies.…

High salary help workers pay debt and help work out of poverty. For instance, one of my co-workers Freddie quit his job for another job that pays him more. Having that occur can have employees resign from their position and can also waste time looking for new workers. Why would corporations lower the minimum wage when the government already tax deductions on every paycheck? Why cut wages when it is already difficult working on a minimum wage to support your self and pay bills? Having that occur may also cause employees to protest or feel like they don’t need to work hard since they are not treated well with their below minimum wage salary. Having a corporation lower the minimum wage for fast food is already not enough to support a normal living life style in the United States.…
