The Importance Of Our Responsibility To America

What do you think responsibility means? To me the word means to take ownership for my actions and words, taking charge in a situation that I know I can handle, and doing my duty to God, my country, and others. The official definition is the state or fact or having a duty to deal with something or having control over someone. But what is our responsibility to America? Here are a few things I believe they are, first you need to pay your own way not have the government or others pay it for you. Because if you don’t you are just another lazy citizen taking money from your neighbors. Second, you need to take care of your children, provide for them, and teach them how to be a good person and so they will help our country thrive. Third, we need to …show more content…
Today it seems like people want everything but dosen’t want to work for it and the government is giving it to them and that is not fair to those who actually work for it. So you need to take ownership of yourself and provide for you and your family unless you just physically can’t because it is not the government’s job to do this for you. One of your other obligations to our country is teaching your children to be good,godly,smart citizens so that they may one day help our nation prosper and fulfill their duties to our country and God.
Then we need to preserve our nation for future generations which means we need to take care of it and not destroy it or corrupt it. We need to take care of the wildlife, structures, History, and way of life so that future generations may build upon it and make it stronger and

It takes us as a whole people to ensure liberals do not corrupt and take over our government more than they already have. Because if we just all sit back and watch then we will definitely suffer the consequences and we will lose our freedoms and rights unless we all take a stand and defend them no matter what the cost. A Former President of the United States Eleanor Roosevelt once said “ Freedom takes a huge requirement of every human being. With freedom comes great responsibility. For the person who is unwilling to grow up, the person does not want to carry his own weight, this is frightening prospect”.
