Relationship Between God And Jesus Research Paper

Before we can begin a discussion about our need to turn our nation back to God, we must address the relationship between God and the person of Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that Jesus is God’s only begotten Son. I believe this to be fact. Jesus, however, is also God.
I know this is a tough concept to grasp. How can Jesus be God if He is also the Son of God? First and foremost, we cannot attempt to constrain God to the laws of physics that we are subject to. He created these laws and by such, He operates outside them. God is not inside of the Universe, the Universe is within Him . His power is limitless . Nothing is impossible for Him . If we believe the Bible, why do we doubt that a God who can speak all of creation in to being can father Himself as a human?

God told John that He was the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the ONE who was DEAD and now ALIVE. When did God die? Was it not when Jesus died on the Cross? Did Jesus not rises for the Dead?
If we cannot accept that God is powerful enough to be God the Father and be Immanuel, what does it say about our faith? To say we believe that God is all-powerful and nothing is impossible for Him, and yet we doubt that Jesus is God is utter lunacy.
Many people today want to acknowledge Jesus as a good and wise teacher but deny His deity. The Qur’an acknowledges Jesus as the Word of God, His virgin birth, acknowledges that He was the Messiah, and goes so far as to give an account of Him breathing life into a clay bird as a child only to turn around and deny that He was the Son of God.
The LGBT community contends that Jesus never spoke against homosexuality. This contention is gaining ground and sadly, many churches are buying into this fallacy in order to placate those who want to normalize their licentious

Yet, how many have truly understood being honest with the Word of God is love, even in offending. Many forget that the Word of God is quit clear on subjects that millions today feel it is okay to take participation in with the world. To say one is saved by the Grace of God, one must truly be separate from the world, not in a state of being so heavenly that one is no earthly good, however can be seen from a distance as not of the world. Does not the world of God state all liars will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven???? (John 8:44, 1 Cor.6:9-1, Gal.…

The question of Christ’s deity may be the single most important question that the Church has to face today. Many today claim that Jesus was just a good teacher and that he himself never claimed to be divine. In Islam, it is believed that the Christians corrupted his teachings to say that he was the Son of God. However, through this apologetics course, it has been shown verifiably that the New Testament is reliable and uncorrupted. This means that what Jesus says in the New Testament is most likely the most accurate version of what he taught.…

Although New Age best describes what Kant would accept as a pure religion, a Kantian religion would be comprised of a group of extremely confused individuals who would truly never achieve anything. There would be no religion. The Christian religion is based on the divine nature of a man named Jesus. Jesus was a human who, depending on the denomination…

In disagreement, it is clear that Anselm is a new Christian because this is what modern Christian's struggle with or complain how they cannot see God so why do they need to seek someone they cannot see with their whole heart. The strength of his argument is Anselm has a point that everybody comes across at one end in their lives that one cannot see God and it is up to this person to put their faith in God. God does want his creation that is us to have a choice in his existence, and he wants us whom he has created to have faith in its presence. For example, in opinion, in Genesis, God knew ahead of time that Adam and Eve were going to eat of that tree that they were not supposed to eat. This reason was that God wants us to have a choice to believe in his existence and he wants us to choose not to sin.…

In order to prove that Jesus displays God’s characteristics of eternality, proof must be given that He was given God’s power. In order to prove God is real and amongst men, Jesus must use characteristics of God as his evidence; coincidentally, the Bible gives explicit words to do this. The Bible shows that God will not “yield [His] glory to another or [His] praise to idols” (Isaiah 42:8, New International Version). Yet, throughout the New Testament, there are constant callings to praise Jesus. There is only one explanation for this, that “Jesus was the glory of God” (Macarthur, 2003).…

Nor could they grasp the concept that Jesus and his Father were one. Not just one in purpose and mission, but one in totality of being. But Jesus assured them that the comforter (Holy Spirit) who he would send in his name, who lead and guide them in all truth. The son of man would be revealed after they were filled with the Holy Ghost as the Son of God with clarity of understanding that Jesus is God the ‘only’ wise God. Thomas the disciple would after the resurrection of Jesus declare him to be “My Lord and my God”.…

If the Holy Spirit is simply a person, but not the divine person, “how are we made perfect in Him,” and how does He conform people into the image of God? This distinction clearly leads to the answer that the Holy Spirit “is neither a creature, nor a thing made, nor a fellow servant, nor any of these lowly appellations,” but instead is the third person of the Trinity that is distinct from the rest finite creation. The entire Trinity, including the Holy Spirit, are “as self-existent Divinity, being unbegotten, uncaused, and without source,” for the entirety of the Trinity has been in existence since the beginning of time, which gives credibility to the divinity of the…

Jesus is, without a doubt, the true son of God the Father. In addition, there is significant evidence to support that He is God Man. This is backed up by the Trilemma Argument along with the John’s Gospel in the New Testament, the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies. Primarily, the Trilemma argues that Jesus did claim to be divine. If Jesus was not divine, he cannot be a good man because that would make Him either a liar or lunatic.…

During that time, it was not considered to be acceptable that Jesus was divine because he was of human flesh. It was also not considered to be acceptable to view Jesus as less than being equivalent to God. The belief that there is only one true God is crucial in Christianity. Scripture plays a crucial role in Christianity because it is the only way that one can ever know of what early Christians believed and followed; this set the basis for Christianity. “Hear, Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord.” Deuteronomy 6:4.…

For this congregation, God the Father is the only God, and to worship Jesus or the Holy Spirit, it is to claim the worship of three Gods. In regards to the worship of Jesus, they base their denial for His worship on John 14:28, where Jesus said the Father is greater than Him. In other words, they do not read this verse as the Son God humbling himself before the Father for our sake. In addition, the denial of Jesus as God, also rejects the normative Christian belief that in order for there to be any salvation at all Jesus had to be divine, for sinful humans cannot save themselves; they find it acceptable for salvation to come to us through a mere man. During their worship, they utilize Jesus’ name as an object to praise Jehovah for their claimed salvation but will not direct any words of worship to…
